BINGHAMTON – The Binghamton Devils have released their training camp roster which is set to beging tomorrow, September 24 at Floyd L Maines Veterans Memorial Arena. The 31-man roster will feature 18 forwards, nine defensemen, and four goaltenders.

Nice to have the roster. A bunch of names on that list I don't recognize, especially a bunch of defensive invitees. I suppose that's one option to find the 9th guy.

Well, Binghamton got smoked today, but it was running a lineup with a lot of players likely to spend more time in Adirondack than Binghamton.

Well, Binghamton got smoked today, but it was running a lineup with a lot of players likely to spend more time in Adirondack than Binghamton.

Yeah the fourth line and half the D will be the first cuts as ECHL camps are opening soon. A lot ECHL players were cut from AHL camps today. McAdam has spent half of his pro games in the ECHL. Cormier will also see time in Glens Falls unless he's taken a giant step forward over the summer.

Looks like Bingo could use a high end minor league goalie. It would be a disaster in New Jersey if Schneider or Blackwood go cold or get injured

Yep. I've started a Binghamton GDT so we don't fill this one up with game minutiae.

I had my antenna set on Maltsev, so maybe it's a bit of confirmation bias, but he looked like their best player last night.

But evidence of confirmation bias?

Maltsev zero points, 4 sogs and a -1. The 4 shots back me up, but the -1?

Street, 2 goals and assists and 6 sog's. Even +/-.

Sharangovich and assist, 4 sog's, and a +1.

Now Street to me was just getting it done(all of his points) on the PP. Valuable for sure, and finishing/pure point production, does look like an area area Maltsev needs to improve on. But Maltsev seemed to be controlling play. Commentators made note of a shift where Maltsev pinned the puck in the offensive zone corner, which allowed for the rest of the team to get a line change.

Sharangovich I hardly noticed but he looked to have a solid game as well.

Just a game note, but Bing did have a 20-14 shot advantage after 2, Utica made a push while down 2 in the 3rd(2 seperate occasions actually), and took the shot advantage lead(while scoring one, but not the game tying).
