Studenic shooting percentage last season: 17.1%
Studenic shooting percentage this season: 7.1%

That's what happened. Studenic is actually getting more shots on goal per game - 60% more - but they're going in at less than half the rate.

It's not always a question of quantity, but it's one of quality. It is not that he is getting robbed all the time, he is not getting quality looks as much if you ask me.

Effectively nobody gets 17% shooting percentage quality though so he likely was over his head last year and a little unlucky this year.

Cory with 5 GA on 16 shots, pulled after two periods. In 3 games he now hat a 5.00 GAA and a .833 SV%.

Hey, he was one save better than Domingue the last time he played, with 5 goals on 15 shots.

Cory might even be the worst goalie in the AHL. His save percentage these last two years in the AHL is even worse than his NHL save percentage in that time.

NJ doesn’t have to worry about the Cory cap hit this season or next season. Rather than buy him out is their any advantage to having him serve as a third goalie/goalie coach at Bing? It’s impressive to see him still trying when a lot of guys would have relied on their degenerative injury to hang up their skates.

Not really no. He definitely isn’t going to want to do that. Team isn’t going to want to pay that money just him to babysit in Bing.

Buyout is the only logical recourse because no one will take him off our hands.

Another loss tonight. Now officially the worst team in the AHL.

From purely a Binghamton fan perspective, this has to be the most boring, uninspiring, painful team I’ve ever tried to root for.

I miss the Senators.

That Bastian goal was a real highlight. He has the right mindset, that's for sure. But McLeod also looked great on that play. Unfortunately, the team stinks anyway and Senn is almost as bad as Cory.

It really should be LTIR but because our team has actual fiscal constraints it will probably be a buyout. This is an excellent example of how the salary cap heavily favors teams like Toronto and NY that can afford to play games with LTIR.

He isn’t hurt. You can’t just put guys on LTIR for no reason. Plus we aren’t a cap team. Those cap savings only kick in once you go over the cap.
