Sharks organization signed one guy many years ago and he was "assigned" to Ft Knox, KY, but worked out and traveled with the Sharks' AHL team out of Lexington Kentucky (Thoroughblades).

Sharks recently had Peter Gahagen working out with team on ATO, on leave from military, in preparation for Olympic bid. He didn't make team, ended up going back to military and finishing out commitment (still follow him on social media; IIRC he signed with ECHL team this past season).
