Canada should have a better goalie and more forward depth, whereas Finland has the best defense in the tournament. But while others may have the depth advantage, Finland's top-six can still match anyone else's.

On paper, this is very close to a toss-up, or a small advantage to Canada. What grows Canada's odds however is small ice. A fun (or "fun") fact: Finland has *never* beaten Canada on this level in the NA-sized rink. 15 games in the narrow box, zero wins.

Sure, there's a first time for everything, but still...

Canada probably wins. Small ice, best goalie etc. But I cannot resist the call of a homer vote.

Canada is clear favourite for me especially in smaller rink but Finland has chance to beat Canada if they have good day.

canada with big advantage on the small ice, hope we win, but not the end of the world.

we have to learn and progress the game, specially with small ice and save the best effort to the games the really matter.

I'll be optimistic and predict a win for the Finns. Although I expect Canada to start the game with more tenacity and probably even lead after the first period due to the small ice advantage. Of course you never know, could go either way but this Finnish team is probably the best ever on the paper and should be hard to beat. Whatever happens, should be in for a great game.

Finland is finally going to break their deplorable record against Canada on small-ice. Tight game, Finland 4 Canada 3.

Not sure about this one, Canada has looked really good in the pre-tournament names while Finland has some high end players and often gels very well. Can see it going either way. Should be a good game.
