This is the big one for me. The previous starts he was all over the place, which was a worry since it's always been noted as a problem he has. If he can continue to show that he's making strides to tighten up his control and hit his spots it'll be key for him to take the next step in his development.

Marlins lineup wasn't strong but he wasn't this sharp against a weak Royals lineup.

Positive start for SRF. Very few hard hit balls.

A little disappointing that they shunted Pannone to the pen so quickly. Rough last outing or not, he deserved to keep starting to see what he can do with more of a run. I get that they need to make room for Stroman coming back tomorrow, but it just feels kinda unfortunate that he has to be the casualty here.
