You hear that? That's Happ's value going down the toilet.

He has had a good season, but his ERA is now at 4.71. There was a stretch where he looked like a really good pitcher but he also had 5 really bad starts.

One hard hit ball. He had 5 outs that inning. Travis **** up, the short grounder by Nunez and Smoak's ball out of his glove.

He is having an interesting season. 4.71 ERA because when he was bad he was really bad. When he was good, he was really good.

EDIT: those are unearned runs now so his ERA does not balloon.

What a horseshit question: "do you wish you would have signed somewhere else?" Like he is going to say anything other than "no". "Yes, I wish I would have signed somewhere else" Come on.

What the f***? A lot of curious moves by Gibby there. Why did he pinch ran for Smoak when he wasn't even the tying run? Then he also takes out Teoscar from the game in the process. 2 of your best hitters are gone. Then he puts Solarte at 1st and Russel at 3rd. Shouldn't it be the other way around? Can't Russ play 1st base? And wouldn't Solarte be a better 3rd baseman than Russel?

What the **** is Buck on about?

Borucki chooses his number because maybe batters will think that he believes himself to be as good as Buehrle and will think he's full of himself and it'll give him (Borucki) an advantage because reasons?

Alrighty then.

Somehow Borucki has 4 earned runs in a 5 run inning with 3 errors. I guess they can't count those missed catch errors/throws to home as guaranteed outs but nobody advanced on the first one so unless you say the error prevented the out, the batter didn't advanced and it's just a fielders choice, not an error. The 2nd one the runners advanced to 2nd/3rd so that's an error on Pillar that advanced the runners.

All of the errors could have been outs though.

Fenway homerun.

Borucki getting payback for his awful run support in the first 3 games. 5 runs combined, 3 team loss, 1 loss himself. Gives up 6(hugely thanks to the defense) and if he goes 5 he could win this.
