I'm really digging how all 4 lines are working right now though. They all seem very dangerous.
Really liking Simon-Brassard-Rust. Pick of our lines so far. I also really like this version of Letang.
Not if you ask any of the players - they really seem to like him and his game. He's not a first line talent, and needs to gain some consistency, but he's not without skill, and playing on the 3rd or 4th line isn't a big deal. I'm really interested to see how he does this season.
Strange that I can watch on my phone and tablet but I am blocked on my laptop
Outside of the SBR line, the HMK line has been good and the Maatta-Johnson pair looks really good too.
Riikola looks really good on the powerplay and Sprong looked a lot better on the powerplay.
G is a beast
it won't play on my iMac but will play on my Kindle.
Hopefully Sprong's confidence isn't shot. Cause if he gets going and these other lines stay the same, daaaaaaaaaaaamn.
Riikola didn’t look out of place on the power play.
Thought Brass was terrific on PP2. Great puck support. Thought Letang was awesome there on the point on PP1.
that first unit has its ups and downs on PP
Riikola is God
Sprong looked very good there...good possession
I wouldn't be surprised if his confidence took a blow or he sulked for a bit. It wouldn’t be the best response but it would be unsurprising.
Girgensons just tried to hit JJ and Johnson just launched him
JJ looks really good today, as does Maatta.
Jack Johnson is also a man
There is 81!
Okay that's the Kessel I was expecting to see, great shot.
Fat man strikes.
I don't think Buffalo has a shot since I started watching.
Phil Bourque is annoying
He needed that shift, too. He had a horrible turnover in the neutral zone earlier.
He had a bad first 2 shifts, but since the powerplay, he has looked really good.
The only guys who haven't looked that good were Sprong's first 2 shifts and Oleksiak overall. I just haven't like Oleksiak today for some reason.
