As the resident Falcon fan, I think Jones should hold out and I think the Falcons shouldn't re-negociate.

There are people in line who need deals before Julio gets another new one. I know he's their best player, but they can't set the precedence that they will rip up 2nd contracts with 3 years left. Too many players on their team will be in that position soon.

Yea, he's working out with T.O., and despite his other issues, T.O. was always 100% on point when it came to fitness.

What exactly is he holding out for?

The 29-year-old is in the second season of a five-year, $71 million deal that included $47.5 million guaranteed at the time of the extension.

I'm not sure what his problem appears to be. He was already given the $47.5 mil, no? :help:

Well like I said, I don't think the Falcons should give in. But I have no issues with what he's doing.

When he comes back, the effort and results will be what they've always been.

The best Julio can hope for is that they do what the Steelers did with Antonio Brown - restructure his last 3 years to convert some of his 2019-20 base into a 2018 bonus. So, it delays the issue and keeps everyone happy.

a lot of RPO for the Bears this year?

Matt, Mark and Mitch: Odd Offensive Triumvirate Tries to Bring Back Bears

"In the shotgun, Trubisky took a snap from center, put the ball in scatback Tarik Cohen’s gut, stayed with him for two steps, withdrew the ball when he saw he’d have time to throw, and fired a completion for mybe 15 yards to tight end Colin Thompson.

“I think that’s the direction our offense is taking,” said Cohen. “I really like it.”

I love how far behind the NFL is with the rest of football world when it comes to schematics offensively.

No surprise holdouts so far.

OBJ is on his best behaviour and trying to be a good guy for the team so they pay him but it's risky. I wouldn't blame him if he stayed off the field.
