Because I live on the west coast and I always look forward to this game each year, it's Stanford vs. USC and nothing else matters. I hope Stanford doesn't lose.

Absolute horseshit that losing in OT to the number 10 team nets us zero votes. There's no rational argument to be made that we are not a top 25 team. College football is still broken.

Non P5 bias at it's best. Sure Washington lost to a good top 10 team but they're still ranked very high. Michigan has been bad for a couple of years and didn't look good week 1 but yet are somehow ranked. It's just damn near impossible for a non P5 team to even sniff the top 10 or have any chance at a playoff spot. That's why I don't mind UCF making its national championship claim because they'll never get a fair chance in this current system.

It's more of a case of PSU having a stinker than App State being a top 25 team.

App State could've won that game and Michigan would have still been ranked ahead of them. For an App State, UCF or Boise to be top 25 they have to be undefeated and 1 loss their done while these P5 schools can lose and look bad doing it yet still get ranked. Rankings are a joke these days.

As Million Dollar Man Ted DiBiase said, "Everyone's got a price."

Be interesting to see if VT has any sort of hangover following the FSU win. They have to play on a short week on Saturday. Also surprised they rose so high to 12. Offense still has some issues I'm not comfortable with.

Sure, but there's a lot of room for him to get a raise here

Before incentive-based bonuses connected to on-field performance, academic achievement, attendance and scheduling are considered, Satterfield would earn $664,583 in 2017, $712,500 in 2018, $750,375 in 2019, $788,644 in 2020 and $827,325 in 2021.

Penn State just paid us 1.2M. We're never going to be able to compete with a P5 school unless we're in a P5 conference, but there's increasingly going to be more money available with how well we keep performing. Also,

Satterfield, 44, has spent 21 of the last 26 years at App State as a player or coach. He played quarterback for the Mountaineers from 1991-95, served as an assistant in Boone from 1998-2008 and returned to his alma mater as an assistant head coach in 2012.

That's quite a lot of years. I think he'd only leave for a school like UNC or somewhere close, and only for a substantial raise. I don't think he's looking to go to, say, Nebraska or anywhere like that.

Even though they've got to go to Baton Rouge later on, I feel pretty good about my Georgia in the playoffs prediction if they beat South Carolina. Gamecocks usually give the Dawgs a good fight.

Middle of nowhere
Clemson and A&M could be fun.

Another cupcake for Alabama! I wish theyd start oenalizing these teams for scheduling such lame games. I don't like Saban but I will say no need to apologize to that chick, he has every right to answer that question how he wants just like she has every right to ask it. The media tries too hard to think they are important and influence decision making. Let the man coach hes won like 5 titles, i'm sure he knows more than the "experts"
