and this career is OVAH

The only reason he went to Chicago was because Jean Yawkey fired him

Mookie Betts pulled a Sugar Ray Leonard with a late flurry to win MVP.

He likely got the Yankees voters attention last week and tough to beat a 30/30 season assuming he gets one more steal- gold glove caliber defense and highest WAR in game

Add in the eye candy stuff like the 3 homer game, a cycle game, and that made for TV epic at bat 13 pitch GS off JA Happ.

He’s looking at 10/250 M

Realistically who else even has a claim at MVP? I'm tired of Trout. Has potential to be an all-time great, but I'm also someone who, playoff team argument aside, thinks the MVP should be the player who has the most value to his team.

The Red Sox without Betts this year probably win 90 games, but miss the playoffs, and JD definitely doesn't come close to the season he has had.

I'd give Mookie a blank check at this point. He's earned it, and they cannot afford to lose him.
