Kolyada had multiple falls but Chan also fell. Rippon was close to flawless so Italy despite a great performance by Rizzo will drop 2 back of the US.

I don't think he was underscored. His program was pretty conservative.

Its basically the reason the US has caught or surpassed Russia in gymnastics. Under the old scoring system I'm convinced they certainly don't win gold in 2012. They may have won it in 16 regardless but its leveled the playing field I think.

Chan-flation. makes it up on the technical
it's so weird. I am such an advocate for artistry for Gymnastics vs. just GymBot but it pisses me off in Figure Skating is now diminishing the jumps for artistry.
