I know it's early, but Michigan doesn't appear to be the juggernaut many people were projecting. Certainly not looking much like a 'Frozen Four' team at the moment. Maybe Quinn Hughes will be available to the Canucks in March a lot sooner than many thought he might be.

Juolevi's first ES point of the season. Of course he was also on the ice for all 3 goals against and is now -8 on the year, by far the team worst (second worst regular defenseman is -4).

He was actually only on the ice for two goals against not 3.

He didnt get credited with a plus on the goal where he got an assist because he had already gotten off the ice on a change.

Awful start to the year for Woo. 2 points in 7 games.
You have to start worrying a bit about Woo. A d-man who keeps getting hurt playing junior hockey isn't going to find life very easy in the AHL. Could be just a fluke series of injuries, but it's a bit of red flag.

But not unlike both Gadjjovich and Lockwood who've been hurt a lot. They've got a lot of prove when it comes to staying healthy as pros.

I was being sarcastic in response to a ridiculous post

Not at all a ridiculous post. There are other fans who would agree with me as well. I would have said the same thing last year, even before he was drafted. It has nothing to do with his slow start. Does that mean he has no shot at the NHL? No, its just an opinion.

Sault Ste. Marie 3 Windsor 2
DiPietro 19 saves on 21 shots (selected 2nd star)

Another strange stat line where in the 3rd, down 2-0, Windsor pulled DiPietro and Sault Ste. Marie scored into the empty net. Then Windsor got two quick goals to make it 3-2!

Thanks very much for pointing out the stat line. The box score provided in the link shows when Di Pietro was in the net. When SSM scored it's 3rd goal Windsor had a power play and pulled DiPietro. Then Di Pietro went in and Windsor scored on the same power play. Then late in the game with Di Pietro in the net Windsor got it's second goal.

Merritt, BC
Thinking of changing it up and listening to the Michigan game, rather than the Comets game, tonight. Hoping for a great night for Hughes!

Hughes and Lockwood should be more entertaining than the plugs the comets are currently dressing
