If not this year, it may be a long time before the NL West has a changing of the guard.
We got an overthrowing in the NL Central, but it feels like it could be years before someone takes down LA.
They won’t be this shaky next year and who knows how long this year might be the exception rather than the norm.
I’m not saying they’ll win 14 straight division titles ala the Braves (1991-2005) or the Yankees winning 9 straight division titles (1997-2006), but it’s hard to bet against a team that knows how to win that seemingly has winning engrained in their DNA
LA was never more vulnerable in recent years until this year and they are about to win yet another division title.
They just don’t know how to lose against this division when it matters with this code.
What is it going to take to knock the Dodgers off their division throne?
I was tempted to say this is like the Patriots and their division, but the NL West is actually a good division compared to the AFC East..... you get where I’m going with this, though.
