You wonder now if Milwaukee sitting around for 4 days will kill them. Especially if LA somehow loses one at Atlanta here. I also think a break doesn’t hurt LA as much because they aren’t running quite as hot

Although if both sweep tonight, they'll both have the same issue.

I just had someone tell me they think a break may hurt LA more because the Brewers haven’t exactly hit exceptionally well this series and they don’t have elite starters. So they claim a break helps their pen where as Ryu or Kershaw not pitching for 7-8 days may cause them to be very rusty in games 1 and 2. I still think if that series happens LA is a favorite

Not starting Kyle Freeland will go down as one of the biggest mistakes in Rockies history.

I can't blame the Rockies for not wanting to start their 25 year old ace twice in a row on 3 days rest. Especially with how good Marquez has been lately. It's not like they threw out a scrub instead of Freeland.

Was Marquez bad today?

No. I think if a guy had a 3.60 ERA over a full season with all of the games pitched at Coors Field, I think most people would be pretty happy about that. But sure, blame the pitchers. Not the offense that has currently scored 2 runs in 27 innings in the series.

I don’t want to lose anymore. I just hate it,’’ Arenado, 27, tells USA TODAY Sports. “It’s tough on you. I’ve only been to the playoffs once, and it was only one game and then it’s gone. We got kicked out quick.

Arenado in the postseason: 3/16 (.188 average), 0 RBI, 0 HR

Doesn't look too good now, does it Nolan?

He’s playing with a bad shoulder, has been for couple months now.

He carried the offense all year anyways.
