It has become apparent that everyone, including the coaches, just mailed it in post all star break. Team defense has been wonderful for the most part, vasy looks fine, and Point is going ham. They are a resilient bunch right now.

Vasy still scares me. The rebounds are often spit out at random. At one point last night you could see Boston throwing pucks at him, hoping for a rebound. I think our D has just stepped up to the challenge and not let it burn us too much yet.

What a redemption this playoffs has the potential to be.

- we beat the devils, after suffering a couple playoff defeats in the past
- take out the bruins, who beat us in 2011 ECF
- potential to rematch against the pens, who took us out in 2016 ECF
- beat the jets or whatever who cares let’s get a cup
