It's honestly amazing we don't see more injuries like that. It was just a routine tackle and the defender wasn't even rolling toward him.

Considering his age and production level, wouldn't surprise me if he never plays again professionally. Sucks for him.
Have to make sure there aren’t any blood vessels broken either.

I can’t help but wonder if some of that play design comes from what they think of Dak’s ability to read the field,

That's only because you don't like Dak. It has nothing to do with "reading the field". Seahawks either play single high or cover 3. The holes are behind the Linebackers and in front of the deep safety. With all the action going to one side the thinking is that a guy will be open on the 2nd level. Just not enough field to run that when you are already lined up on the right hash.

QBs tend to like their teams wearing white because it makes receivers easier to spot with their peripheral vision. I guess maybe the light gray pants could have the same effect.
