One reason why NBA < NHL in many ways
So many plays are called as a foul or missed foul depending on the ref. Literally 90% of the game is decided by how the refs feel like calling the game. The stars are stars not only because they are talented... but even more so because the refs let them get away with everything and protect them from the smallest of contact.

It's the best. I still find it more entertaining when Curry goes off but Klay's shot is my favourite in the NBA now that Ray Allen is retired.
