voted McBain, but could have easily gone Khovanov or Belpedio. Maybe even Lodnia or Khakonen. If Khovanov looks good this year(i.e. fully recovered from Hep A and injury), could he be trade bait for CAR, who might want to pick him up to play with his good buddy Svechnikov?

Belpedio was my vote here. There is a group of players that all are similar for me, so him being the closest to NHL ready gives him the edge. I do think he'll push Murphy as the first RD callup near the end of the season.

My recollections of Belpedio have him playing his off-wing. Most NHL coaches don't like that, so we'll see what they do with him. He probably is next on the depth chart in terms of the poll, but I do like Lodnia's chances to be the Ondrej Palat in our system.

I voted Kahkonen with basically the same idea in mind. He's been a pro, been good, and probably isn't far off compared to the others.
