He did when he played in the AHL at the end of the year so it doesn't really matter how development camp went for him. Rookie camp and preseason we will see if he's NHL ready.

I didn’t catch him much in the AHL, but seem to remember him having a tough time in the series against the Marlies.

Still with the season he’s had, I can’t see them sending him back to Juniors.

The Marlies were the best team in the AHL so struggling against them isn't a big deal especially after a long junior season and jumping into the AHL right after. He's not going back to junior, he'll be in the AHL next year playing top 4, most likely the #1 PP and #2 PK.
