Krieger should still have a year of NCAA eligibility left. The zeroes in his first year with Min-Duluth are his transfer year where they don't let you play.

Cole Smith has two years left. Both of these guys have profiles that would suggest ECHL when the time comes. (older rookie years, high PIMs, transfers, etc.)

Chase Wouters was a member of Canada's 2018 U-18 team. Was on their 4th line.

Skating we could work on. I don't think he could sign in 2019 though. Still draft eligible until his 20-year old year and too young for AHL/ECHL until then.

I know that the Lightning mothership is airtight for leaks, but with dev camp invites, you dox yourself a bit on who you're interested in.

The player that interests me the most is Leppard. He was drafted 8th overall in the WHL bantam draft. He didn't have a great draft year but is 6'2 and close to 200lbs. He's got some decent skill, skating isn't bad, uses his size well but isn't an overly physical player but has very nice upside even if it's just a bottom 6 guy. Him and Koepke are similar sized kids so I'll be watching closely between the two as Leppard is 1 and a half years younger. Wouters is also a well known kid who many expected to be drafted. We haven't signed a kid from development camp in awhile and the last ones didn't pan out so not expecting either to be signed but definitely names to watch.

Barre-Boulet is really well spoken. Just from his interview alone, you can tell how hungry he is. The kid screams hunger and drive. I am really rooting for him.

Going to try and catch Dev Camp tomorrow and/or Friday. Will try and report back some of what I see like last summer, mostly focusing on our newest Bolts and the defense prospects. Though am curious to see Walker again as he was such a fricking (pleasant) surprise last Dev. :D

Play against Barre-Boulet all my minor hockey . The progression of Alex on last 3 years is impressive . He really improved his shooting and his skating and IQ hockey skills are already NHL levels. If he is put in the right situation and with the right players, you could see him in the NHL quickly. I believe that within 1 year, he would be able to complete an offensive line .

Man, Sosunov is really improving. Looks like they learned how to improve skating when you're training a giant from the mistakes made with the Giraffe.
