It's that time of year to cast your vote for the 2018 HFNHL Award Winners.
Firstly, the ones you already know:
- President's Trophy (points leader, regular season): Colorado Avalanche (112 points)
- Art Ross trophy (top scorer, regular season): Sidney Crosby, Colorado Avalanche (116 points)
- Maurice Richard trophy (most goals, regular season): Nikita Kucherov, Florida Panthers (54 goals)
- William Jennings Trophy (goalies sharing lowest GAA, regular season): Frederik Andersen, Curtis McElhinney, Al Montoya, New York Islanders (2.57)
The Stanley Cup, Conn Symthe, Prince of Wales, and Clarence Campbell will be awarded at the conclusion of this year's playoffs. The Conn Smythe will be voted upon.
Now on to the voting process...
We're using google forms again (just as we did for the all star game voting).
2018 HFNHL Awards Voting
Take the time to research and vote on each individual award. Remember, you can't vote for someone in your own organization.
Those teams whose players or staff receive awards earn $250,000 for each honor received... but ONLY if that team participates in the voting process!
If there is someone you feel should win, but is not listed, you can now add them to the poll (type their name in the add option)
Voting will close next Thursday, April 26 at 11:59 EST
Feel free to use this thread to make your award pitches.
ALSO, please be aware that later (likely after this year's playoffs) we'll be doing the 2017 HFNHL Awards Voting, as it was forgotten about last year (likely because of the Expansion Draft).
