Hayton Barrett

I rather pick DMen - McIsaac or Wilde, you never have enough. Surprised Barrett was unclaimed. Always believe choosing the BPA, unless similar quality players then draft on need.

However, Barrett is rated just outside the Top 10. If he falls into the 16th spot this would be a fabulous addition to the AVs. Safe pick with a slightly lower upside compared to other prospects. A future ROR, well suited for a 2C or 3C role.

Damn, Kravtsov, Smith, and Farabee gone. Going with Bokk, best upside out of all the forwards left.

This would be a nightmare draft for me. Kotkaniemi going at 10 would be sad but expected. Both Kravtsov AND Denisenko going at #14 and #15 though? :thumbd:

Can we trade down? :laugh:

Of those that are left I think I'd like to see us gamble on the upside of Wilde.

Went McIsaac but I'm not really much of a prospect savant.
every time I read up on him though, it reminds me of how I felt about McAvoy in his draft year.

I picked Hayton but would settle with Martin Kaut. Impressive numbers in the czech league and is RW

I really like McIsaac, but concerns about his IQ dropped his ranking. Could be another Chychrun opportunity? Wilde seems really good as well.

Maybe trade down and draft one of these players?

HFAvs: Whatever we do, we can't play it safe with this pick.

Also HFAvs: We should pick Hayton.

:sarcasm::popcorn:

Yeah wtf lol? I don't really like the way this one turned out regardless though.

However it looks like all of us who went with risky picks, just don't agree on who to take the risk on lol. I love that someone actually voted for Merkley.

Yeah, it's a pretty wide open draft once you take out Kravtsov and Denisenko. There's an argument to be made for several different players here. I just find it amusing that the board is running towards safety when it seems like the consensus was that last year's swing for the fences draft was a great strategy.

I think the most recognized name is winning this poll right now, that's all.

I picked Hayton. But I regret my decision. Finally had to time to read some of the scouting reports and Bokk would be my pick now.
