Every year there's a mock draft done by the team boards of HF -- here are the results of 2015, 2016, and 2017. Rules are easy: just pick the player you want your team to draft based on who is still available; "trade the pick" is not an option ;)

2 CAR --- F Andrei Svechnikov 69/74 (93%)
3 MTL --- F Filip Zadina 56/71 (79%)

I am the lonely party in the Lundestrom camp. :) Would be fine with a few different guys at 14 though. Kaut, Kupari, Hayton, Denisenko.....wouldn't be pissed if they took a swing at Berggren because they knew he would be gone before 19. We have good scouts and I think they will nail it this year.

Who was the guy that loved Abramov with me? VOTE FOR LUNDESTROM!

Not a great scenario for the Flyers with Kotkaniemi and Farbee off the board as well as all of the top defenseman.
Draft day could fall like that and most see that 14 as the top 14 guys.

The good thing is, all it takes is one GM to go off board and we can grab a faller. Of course, we could pass on that guy too.

But that 14 seems to be the consensious.

There are always some big surprises in the top 15. There will almost definitely be a couple of guys who most thought would be there who are gone, and on the flip side a couple of guys who unexpectedly fall to 14. I agree though that the mock in this thread pretty much went chalk.

Firstly, **** you Stars.

Secondly, I'm good with Kravtsov or Kaut, as I said. I won't vote him 14 for value reasons, but you better believe I'm going all in on Berggren at 19. **** yeah.
Don't worry, since this isn't a no-brainer pick like last year, I'm sure Nill will go back to his old ways and pick someone ranked in the 30-40 range simply because he's 6'4+ and can skate a little better than most guys his size.

I wouldn't be blown away to see y'all take Kravtsov actually. 3rd time is the charm.

Kravtsov, Kaut, and Berggren all still available.

Thank you St. Louis. Thank you for Morgan Frost and this wonderful bounty at #14.

I agree with @Magua (shocking) that we should probably go with Kravtsov or Kaut here. Then close our eyes and hope beyond hope Berggren is still there at #19.

Repeat after me: "Give Joakim Grundberg a 1st round pick. Give Joakim Grundberg a 1st round pick. Give Joakim Grundberg a 1st round pick."

Not at 14, maybe at 19.

Ryan Merkley. Great value at #14.

This is probably worst case scenario for the Flyers if they miss out on all 3 of Veleno, Kotkaniemi, and Farabee. Not the worst thing since Hayton, Kaut, or Kravtsov would all be nice too though.

Just realized I clicked Denisenko instead of Hayton (not that it matters).

With Farabee gone, I'm going Kravtsov. If Farabee is there, I have a real tough decision to make.

I've decided I like both over Kaut.

After watching these playoffs, we need BIG, FAST wingers who hit, preferably Euro. Then a D at 19...
