Every year there's a mock draft done by the team boards of HF -- here are the results of 2015, 2016, and 2017. Rules are easy: just pick the player you want your team to draft based on who is still available; "trade the pick" is not an option

At this point for me it's between Hayton, Farabee and Kravtsov. Damn not sure who to pick, guess I'll go with Farabee

I really wonder what the islanders would take for us to swap the 13 th pick with there 12th pick .

This is like worst case scenario for us

As an Islanders fan I think the top 10 going the way this mock goes might be worst case scenario for us, although that being said an argument can be made for Smith being picked instead of Kotkaniemi.

Hypothetical scenario of Kotkaniemi and Velano being both left on the board at 11, as an Islanders fan I might try play off teams in the 13-16 range against eachother to see who wants that 11th pick, then Islanders pick the other one(use the later pick on defense)
