I like to congratulate the NEWFOUNDLAND AND LABRADOR TRICOM THUNDER BANTAM AAA HOCKEY TEAM for winning the Gold Medal over the Nova Scotia Gulls in a dramatic 4 to 3 overtime win. The Gulls were leading 3 to 1 with 0.59 seconds left in the 3rd period and with o1.6 seconds left Tricom had the game tied to force overtime. Tricom started the OT period short handed for 1 minute and 33 seconds and soon after the penalty was over Tricom scored the winner. What a great game and finish to the tournament. It was good to watch some great hockey and also the great talent.
