It is only one game. Price is next for them and he is awful in the playoffs. If the Yanks win game 2, they can win the next two at home with favorable pitching match ups. Calm down.

And even if they lose... it will be to a 108-win team. Sucks losing against the f***ing Sox, but it would still be a great season. Team is young and stacked. Many more opportunities left.

Boston badly needed this given their recent October woes, the pressure on Sale, the expectations that come with a 108-win season. After all, uneasy lies the head that wears the crown.

(And since this is a hockey message board, we all know about the unpredictably of teams with the best record is well known with the President’s Trophy Curse)

I’m not gonna say this lessens the pressure for David Price on Saturday..... but being up 1-0 rather than down 0-1 going into the Price start given his playoff track record is big.
