fourth liner.

maybe but it's just way too soon to say what he is as he went through a terrible drought where he couldn't score into a barn but then caught fire and then got injured. So while I haven't been overly impressed with him, and saw him as something like another DLR, who I like more then some but for now we just need to see him stay healthy and see what he can do over a longer period of time.

Habs are not very successful at drafting Swedish born players since decades, Hopefully, Norlinder or him will have some impact in the future. JDLR and Vejdemo + a slew of others through the years did not show anything special.

Norlinder is the only one drafted since they hired a new Swedish scout, so hopefully he does a better job then Rockstrom did.

Are we supposed to be thrilled?

Because these are shitty stats
He's known as a defensive player. He wasn't lucky with his shoulder injury last December tho.

Anyway, this is some interesting stats back then when he was on fire.

19/10/31: 3 PTS (3A) in his last 2 Games

19/11/16: 6 PTS (1G + 5A) in his last 5 Games

19/11/30: 7 PTS (1G + 6A) in 19 GP

Again you are correct, I for some reason thought he was a first. Maybe because of the expectation on him.

JDLR was a high 2nd. He was drafted 34th overall in 2013, which was admittedly an empty round. Jacob Olofsson was drafted 56th overall in 2018, it's too early to tell if there were many great players drafted after him.

It is too early, but guys like Hallander, Gustafsson and Morozov have been a lot more impressive so far.

It's hard to do worse really. You could pick names out of a hat and do a better job than what Rockstrom did.

Is Rockstrom the one who was apparently pushing for the Habs to take Arvid Henrikson in the 7th round in 2016?

And his claim to fame was when he worked with Detroit and pushed for them to draft Lidstrom?

Or am I mixing up scouts and stories?
