Seeing Richardson above the 4th line turns my stomach too much. I’d bump Crouse up and Richardson down.

Hopefully it wouldnt be for more than a couple games. But I do like @moosemeister suggestion about adding Hayton to the lineup. Funny how quickly our center depth went from overstocked to being in short supply.

Too much risk? He’s sticking around because “he made the team”.

If he can’t play with the big boys he has ZERO reason to be here.

Hayton missed a week of practices. I think he’s just getting back up to speed at practice and will get into his first game soon. IMO it’ll be next Saturday at home against Buffalo.

They probably can’t do this, but I’m not going to be surprised if they try it with Chychrun and/or possibly Dvo when they become cleared.

Has the team given up on finding something on waivers? If not, shouldn't a contract be shedded, or something? I assume it's to late to start with that if something decent comes around. Or they expect Buffalo to grab anything of value, anyways?

We are at the max. Number of contracts. We need to either trade, expose/lose an asset like Dauphin/Connaughton through waivers ourselves, or find someone with a contract we can and are willing to terminate to free up a contract slot.
