What a sh***y schedule... no Saturday night home games til February.

There does appear to be a lack of Saturday home games again this year. However, they do play a couple of them in the first half of the season - October 20 vs Arizona and December 29 vs Minnesota. I really wish they would have more home games on Saturday nights as you can't beat the atmosphere for those games. They seem to have plenty of Sunday games which aren't quite so fun as there is a more somber feeling in the building on those nights since most people are aware they have to get up for work the next morning. I'm also disappointed that they're on the road on New Year's Eve again this year (in Edmonton which is the same as last year). I guess TNSE is saving that date as a home game for the Moose again. I suppose one positive note about the schedule is that there are no extended road trips as the longest stretches appear to be four games.

Crap schedule from a season ticket holder point of view. Few Friday or Saturday games, and two of them are wasted with Buffalo and Ottawa. The "marquee" games featuring McDavid, Toronto, Montreal (yes, this city still loves watching the Habs even though they stink), Pittsburgh, Boston, Vegas and Washington are all on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.

Does Chipman have any say whatsoever in the schedule, or is it "spit on the season ticket holders" time again.

Ten back-to-backs by my count. Sounds reasonable, no?
Yeah, that's not too bad. The back to back games in Finland against Florida have the added benefits of Florida also being on a back to back, and a long break on either side of the series.

October 26-27: @DET, @TOR. Break: 4 days after (next game in Finland). Bonus: the flight time to Helsinki is about 10 minutes shorter from Toronto than from Winnipeg!

Nov 1-2: FLA, FLA (Finland). Break: 4 days before, 7 days after.

Nov 23-24: @MIN, @STL. Break: 2 days after.

Dec 1-2: @NJD, @NYR. Break: None

Dec 13-14: EDM, @CHI. Break: None. First game is at home.

Jan 10-11: @MIN, DET. Break: None. Second game is at home.

Jan 28-29: @PHI, @BOS. Break: 8 days before.

Feb 9-10: @OTT, @BUF. Break: None.

Mar 20-21: @ANA, @VGK. Break: None.

Apr 1-2: @CHI, @MIN. Break: None.

Not as nice as last season, but not too bad.

He probably wants that because he knows they will all sell out and he gets to save the better dates for the Moose

This trip to Finland is going to really mess up the season I think. remember when Anaheim did the same thing a few years ago and they ended up having a terrible season. After the season, several players said that trip really screwed up their routine etc.

The Kings were on that junket as well and they won the Cup that year.

Not sure where you’re getting your numbers from. I’m looking at 10 Tuesday home games. Mar 16 and 23 are Saturday’s not Friday.

Take a look at your dates, they are mixed up. For example we play the Ducks on Sunday Jan.13 but you have Jan.13 as a Saturday.

Two games in Europe screwed up their routine, OMG, poor babies! Of course in today's world of overly pampered athletes any excuse will do!
