I'd guess Nordstrom-Frederick-Carey is the 4th line, with Coyle still on Krejci's RW.

Heinen looked too good on the top line
Wagner deserving more ice time top lines
I want to see Carey snipe a few along side Krej(appears to be his strength)
Coyle and Kuraly seemed to work
Fred/Backes won't be in line up once Debrusk, Johnsson, and Pasta are back

Marchand Bergeron Heinen
Wagner Krejci Carey
Nordstrom Coyle Kuraly
Fred Acciari Backes

Chara McAvoy

Not saying Senyshyn has deserved to be called up with his play but jeez this has got to be discouraging for him.

It’s been 4 years since he was drafted and he’s just about to turn 22 in late March..

Missing 3 top 6 players and doesn’t even get a sniff.

Yikes

Hell baby
He just isn’t playing particularly great hockey at the time they needed somebody to fill in. Nothing more, nothing less. I Still refuse to write him off

I hate to burst your bubble, well I don't but i digress, but Backes isn't getting sat anytime soon. Cassidy asked him to pick up his physical game and he has and has been getting more ice time. He will wind up back on the bottom two lines but he will be in the lineup the rest of the season and the playoffs, wunderkids (and 30 year olds) from Providence are not taking his spot.

for some reason it didnt cross my mind this season until today... but we really need to dress 7 dmen for these playoffs

1/last year one flaw to our team is we were exploited by having both krug/grze in the lineup at the same time... and yet, if used right they are both very useful help to the team.

2/we dont really have a bottom 6 deep enough that we are totally happy with it... whover the 12th and maybe the 11th forward getting dressed might be someone that shouldnt be getting dressed

3/we have several guys capable of sharing some double shift duty... spread it out and it wont be too much for 1 guy

so if we go 7 dmen what would I suggest for lines {assuming everyone gets healthy}

Heinen/Bergeron/marchand… the dynamic duo doesnt really need a 3rd mustkateer but Heinen seems to chip in and make the guys better defensively than pastrnak. sometimes I think pastrnak gets in the way of the chemistry between Bergeron/marchand

pastrnak/krejci/Johansson... wheres debrusk you all scream... I want three scoring lines and I think debrusk is our best hope for a 3rd line with coyle and so you got the euros together here. Johansson shouldnt be on the rw… get him on his natural side and hope pastnak/krejci finally get chemistry

wagner/coyle/debrusk… going with just 11 forwards means we break up the 4th line but wagner is the main engine. let him do some banging for coyle and debrusk and I think these guys could be one of the better 3rd lines in the east.

extra forwards kuraly and a rotation of whoever is practicing best I guess... I would hope backes could show some life... if not him accari…

and then for the dmen… dont play krug when we have a lead to protect... sit miller or chara when we need to catch up trailing in a game... maybe moore would play part of the rotation if hes struggling...

keeping krug sheltered but letting him be in the lineup is important I think for playoffs... we do need that help on the pp.

so dress 7 dmen... it gives us our best lineup

from today's Globe:

■ Frustrated by Charlie Coyle wiring a golden David Krejci setup wide of the net on Saturday? Irritated that Danton Heinen doesn’t finish as often as he did last year? Remember that David Pastrnak and Marcus Johansson are likely to return by the end of this week. As soon as they (and Jake DeBrusk) shed any rust, the Bruins can match anyone’s top six forwards. Coyle and Heinen could form an effective third line, with a rotating cast of Joakim Nordstrom (better than the numbers show, in this opinion) and David Backes (still useful in stretches).

Unless they're lying about the 5-6 week time table I dont see why Killer wouldn't be back.

I do agree with your lines however.

I think Wagner more than deserves a shot on that third line when everyone is back and hopefully healthy for the long run.

This is true, but I want to see what Wagner can do on the third line. I don’t know if he’s ever played with players like Heinen and Coyle, but if he can score goals with Kuraly I wonder what he can do with more talent. Nordstrom is a fine 4th line player and so is Backes at this point, give Wagner a chance in a bigger role.

I love how Nordstrom is "better than the numbers show"... Really?

43-13-14 is a must.

Well, you've kind of got it.... and I'm assuming you/we will get it once Mojo is healthy.

Pasta back with March/Berg... Coyle back down to 3C between Heinen and Wags, Mojo with Debrusk and Krech, and Kuraly-Noel-Backes/Nords

looking better but like you said, once Mojo returns, slide Heinen down, keep Wags on their wing to do the dirty work along the wall

I keep flip flopping, but I think I would keep Heinen on the 1st. The first line just can't be better than it currently is and Heinen cannot add the same depth to this lineup from any other position so far as I can see. This allows for the largest improvement on line 2 with good depth throughout the top 9 and roster flexibility with good pkers and reliable defensive players on the 4th line.

63-37-43
74-46-88
90-13-14
20-55-52

Although I am not sure if Nordstrom or Kuraly would play off wing.

This is what I would do as well as far as the top 9 goes. At least to start. Debrusk/Krejci/Pasta is a first line in its own right. If MoJo can gel with Coyle, that’s some serious depth

Do the dirty work along the wall? Wagner would be the sniper on that line, he’s too good for dirty work.
