Best season from the class of 2018 might belong to Damien Giroux, who probably deserves more attention.

McBain has a lot of potential but he was and still is pretty raw. Could very well still become a player for us, just has a lot of developing to do. Will likely play 1-2 more years of college and then 2-3 years of AHL before the NHL. Probably arrives in the NHL at age 23-24. Unless he takes some pretty big steps forward in the next couple years.

Think something along the lines of Kevin Hayes as realistic best case scenario.

McBain did get hurt this year. the few highlights I saw he showed some nice speed and skill. hopefully he can continue to grow his game.
