Only prospect who played today is Fonstad. Chicoutimi also played but Houde is still out with a concussion.

In the 3rd period, Prince Albert is up 2-1 against Swift Current. Fonstad with an assist on the second goal. He's now at 4 points in 4 games.

PA's 19 game win streak comes to an end against the worst team in the WHL. What an upset.

it's only the 2nd time this year that Ylonen has points in back to back games in Liiga but when he did that he's picked it up ever since. Before getting back to back points, he had points in just 2 of his first 14 games. If you include the 4 Nations, he's got 9 pts in the last 16 games, without the 4 Nations games he's got 6 pts in the last 13 games.

So just Liiga he started off in his first 14 games he's at a .21 ppg (.2142) and in last 13 games he's at a .4615 ppg. So hopefully it's a matter of him just needing time to adjust a bit to the league. He had a terrible run from 9-21 to 10-24 where he had just 1 point in 12 games but since then he's been much better at least on the stats side of it. I only saw one game this year and the 3 4 Nations games.

watched Olofsson but turned it off after 2 periods, one of the most boring games i've seen this year. Olofsson had 1 shot on the PP, ended up playing 16:49 in a 2-1 loss as his team has been in free fall. Collberg with the lone goal, he's 2nd on the team with 7, it's a career high, he's never had more then 6 goals on any team since he was drafted.

Olofsson now if you count the 4 Nations and SHL, he's gone 14 games without a point and 2 pts in his last 18. If you take out the 4 Nations he's gone games without a point and 2 in his last 15.

Also Romanov played his 2nd lowest TOI at just 2:20, didn't see the game, hate when he and Olofsson play on the same day which has been happening a lot lately.

How does Ylonen compare to Byron?

Ylonen has better puck skills. I'm sure Byron's the better skater but Ylonen seems pretty dynamic in that department. Byron's heart and IQ are what make him so damn good. I've seen Ylonen be a pretty decent puck hound and forechecker. I think he has a good motor. I kind of wish he was in the CHL. Hoping he can keep putting up more points. Wish I had more game reports on him.

There are no lions in Detroit either. Maybe they just like Pelicans.

True but lions are well known and you can hear things like "they fought like lions to win", "He was brave as a lion". But pelicans! "They swallowed fish like pelicans"! Maybe the team membes eat a lot of herring? :)

He's sorta like Kessel stylistically, a pure speed and dangle type of winger. He doesn't play like Byron much at all, outside of the skating, his game is a lot more finesse oriented.

Fonstad with a goal and an assist so far. PA's game is still in the 2nd period.

Brook with an assist as the game is in its final minutes.

Poehling with an assist so far.
