Man, Houle has been ice cold since late October. He's bound to heat up at least a little at some point soon right ?

would think so as they seem to have some good offensive players on that team although I haven't seen them in over a month.

Olofsson is another one, he's ice cold as his last point was Oct 27th between SHL and 4 Nations games. 15 games without a point, just 2 in his last 19 games.

Anyone keeping an eye on Teasdale so far? He was a guy who grabbed my attention in camp.

How has he looked?

He plays very well but he is alone in the team ... he will be exchanged during the period of the exchanges which begin next week ... Several leaders of the league qualifies him as better players on 200 feet. This year I discovered a physical side that I did not know him at all ... Already 2 fights and 2 very good fights on his part.

Playing limited minutes I think (at least not top minutes). He was also moved to a different position IIRC.

Yep. He got his ice time cut pretty significantly and also lost his PP spot (he plays on the point) mostly due to Leason's coming out party but also Gregor being sent to PA for his overage season

I have no clue how he actually looks like....what’s his potential at carving out an NHL career?

I have read on here that some were questioning whether he would even be signed by the Habs. He needs to show development through the year.

As things stand at this exact moment, I have him as an AHL journeyman who gets a few NHL games. But if this 4 assist game has re-sparked his confidence, he definitely can reach the Top 4 potential he had when he was drafted.

Also Tyszka finishes the night with 1G, 1A.

Houde also gets an assist on the tying goal as Chicoutimi makes it 5-5 in the 3rd against Shawinigan.

it's such a shame about his effort levels and his lack of production of late. Kid's highlights showed him pulling off some crazy dekes. He's got real mitts.

He's got some silky hands. A lot of his goals were highlight reel goals.

he's got some skill but I'm always very concerned over players that don't move their feet. Hopefully he breaks out of this slump, that was the first multi point game in almost 2 months. Going into tonight he had just 3 pts in 16 games.

Sometimes players just can't adapt. A lot of guys have only played one type of playstyle in their entire career. It's not not easy to find guys mature enough to understand that if they tried in in another direction (e.g. defensive play, toughness), that they would still retain their skills. Those guys ends up not focusing their game around skills, but they do still have it when opportunities come across for a nice play. A guy like Agostino seems to have grasped that for example, even though it's a short term period. It seems unlikely that any of the latest draftees ever find that balance, but I still retain hope on Hillis who's rising a bit lately.
