16 back to backs this year.
And outside of the 22nd of jan to feb 2nd (allstar weekend) the sharks longest stretch without games is a few 4 days off.
Finally a normal looking schedule.
None of this having 10 games in hand crap we have been seeing the past few years.
I didn't see, when was the Sharks bye week. Isn't that a mandatory 5 days off?
Some schedule notes
Average between game starts: 54.8 hours (including Christmas, ASG, bye week)
13 back-to-backs. Three home-and-home. Two home and away. Eight away-and-away.
Home stands: Four one game stands. Three 2-game stands. Three 3-game stands. Four 4-game stands. One 6-game stand.
Away trips: One 1-game trip. Six 2-game stands. Two 3-game stands. Three 4-game stands. Two 5-game stands.
55.9k miles travel. 55 travel legs. Average leg 1017 miles.
I still have not found the bye week on any schedules i have checked.
Immediately following ASG. Jan 28-Feb 1.
So, if guys don't participate in ASG, they have (no games) Jan 23-Feb 1.
Assuming afternoon practice 2/1.

Ok so i wasnt wrong. All the bye weeks are at the all star break. Thought so, every one i seen was either 21st to 1st or 23rd to 3rd off.
I like it this way better. Nobody gets an advantage or disadvantage from the bye weeks.
Isn't that kind of cheating the system? The Stars who do play in the game don't get a bye week then. Wasn't the whole point of the week to be during a time where the schedule was getting pretty heavy.
No rivalry night games against LA, but there is one against Arizona on 1/16 lol
So did the January 5th game vs Tampa Bay have a time change?
Last I checked it was 8pm in San Jose?
STH don't even get this
