I thought the Bruins/Flyers game was good agree on the Sharks/Coyotes game tho. What's the average looking like compared to last year?

Bad Blackhawks, bad Rangers, bad Flyers, bad Red Wings,...

Hawks ratings locally on NBCSCH are slightly down from last season. According to the network, the Hawks are averaging a 2.1 after finishing with a 2.4 average last season. Their highest rating this season was 3.8, for the home opener Oct. 7 against the Maple Leafs.

The Bulls are slightly down, as well, but they had a lower starting point. After finishing last season with a 1.8 average, the Bulls are averaging 1.4.

That is a very weak number when you consider NBCSN was also the local broadcast in both markets.

The 76ers lead the NBA in attendance, and the Flyers aren't in the playoffs.

The Celtics outdraw the Bruins on tv as well.

A lot of the bigger market teams are having bad seasons, and considering they get the lion's share of nationally televised games it makes sense that ratings are slightly down or flat.

Should be interesting to see the playoff ratings this year

That chart says that Saturday at 12:30 the EPL game had more viewers than the NHL game did Sunday in the same time slot.

It is the most watched EPL game of the year. The most watched NHL game so far this season had 2.9M viewers.

This EPL game would even outdraw many MLB games on ESPN.

In average NHL games on NBC >> EPL games on NBC.

Can't argue there which is why I think any new NBC deal should include 2x the OTA games for NHL 24 VS 12. EPL does tend to do better on NBCSN which is why EPL gets a slightly higher average on NBC/NBCSN combined. NHL is still able to get bigger audiences for bigger events Winter Classic/ Stanley Cup Playoffs later rounds and Finals. This is a very good number IMO.
