We seem to have many promising young RD. The left side is a huge area of need. Does Sklenička have a chance at all?

Doesn't look so bad with Romanov, Harris, Tyska and Whalford but Bergevin likes to say we never have enough defensemen.

Sklenicka is a work in progress. But the positive is that he has gotten much better. He's adapted better that Moravcik, who is in an out of the line-up and was even sent to the ECHL for a few games.

I don't know if Sklenicka has NHL potential, but he is only
22 years old. So you never know. At this moment, I'd be more comfortable just saying that he could he an AHL defenseman. That doesn't mean in a year or two, he can't be an NHL defenseman.

McCarron? Shinkaruk? Juulsen?

Still injured. Did not make the trip with the team. And Bouchard did not want to divulge the injuries because he's still waiting to get news on how long they will be out. Basically, if they will miss a week or two, I wouldn't expect them to say what the injuries are. But if they are to miss long term (months or the rest of the season) we'll know what it is.

The game has already started and Manitoba is up 1-0. I missed the goal.

Manitoba was one of the best teams in the league last year. This year, they're one of the worst.

How was the actual play during the game? Losing 4-0 to a team that is below them in the standings and has even more trouble scoring does not look good.

Sens fan coming in peace to ask you guys a question. Tye Felhaber signed an ATO with Laval last year, and played 4 games. Anyone here remember how he looked? I ask because he's been on fire for the 67s this year, 35 goals/53 points/+29 in just 32 games.

He is an overager, but those numbers I assume will get him a pro contract, and I'm wondering if the Montreal brass liked him enough in those 4 games to possibly make them the frontrunners.

Well, Felhaber is having quite the season.

I hope the Habs are in on him.

I'd rather the Sens get him :sarcasm:

He really is having an insane year. He has a solid chance to hit 70 goals, which has only been done in the OHL 7 times; Doug Gilmour and 4 others in the 80s, Lindros in 90-91, and Tavares in 06-07.

2-2 after 1.Audette has 1g 1a. Evans 1a. Both goals are pp.

Lindgren has faced 6 shots.

Unable to watch but should be home for the 2nd.

I just got home. I tune into the Habs game and they score 2 goals. I tune into the Laval game on the PC, they score to take the lead 5-4 in the 3rd period.

Shootout coming. Laval looked great in OT. They ended the last minute and a half on the PK and they did a great job. Lindgren made a huge save on a 2-on-1.
