More HNIC games than previous years if memory serves - which I do like if up to the old CBC standard.

More Sportsnet games than previous years if memory serves - which I do not like.

After listening to Paul Romaniuk get his Jets hate on for a period, HNIC gives us this

*1st intermission during Any Jets game*
-0.5 min of game analysis
-5 mins of Maple Leaf talk
-5 min of listening to your senile grandpa talk about whose a beaut and whose a dummy

Rinse and repeat for the next 2 periods.

Give me TSN3 coverage all year long.

More HNIC games than previous years if memory serves - which I do like if up to the old CBC standard.

More Sportsnet games than previous years if memory serves - which I do not like.

There is no difference between CBC games and Sportsnet games. None. CBC just picks up the Sportsnet feed and broadcasts it. They have no input into the production.

How about Bob Cole? Please tell me he finally retired.
But I still chuckle when he says “and the goalie made the save”. He really never remembers any of their names.

There's 60 TSN games and 22 on HNIC/SN. Isn't that the same numbers as previous years?

Regardless, I agree with others. The TSN broadcasts are so much more enjoyable.

Last year I started syncing up the 1290 radio broadcast with the tv for SN games. MUCH more enjoyable experience.
TSN Jets was still the best though.

That's cool... Is there an app that makes doing that easier? Also, is it possible to do that when watching the game later on PVR?

I have no idea how you would do that unless you’re watching live. I just simply start recording the game, turn on the radio which is a little bit time delayed and then sync up the PVR and the radio during the national anthem. Perfect time to sync.

More TSN games please. Less everything else please. More Beyak please. Less everyone else please.
Unfortunately, the better the Jets get, the more we have to stomach that repugnant HNIC/CBC/Sportsnet garbage. Wish they could continue to ignore us and fawn on the Leafs during LEAFS broadcasts, not ours.

I think it is 60 games v 22 games regardless. As we get better we get promoted from SN360 to City to HNIC. But still 22 games. Unfortunately they get all the PO games.:(
