We had a player we got in a trade that had a chronic shoulder issue when he arrived. His former team never was able to fix it, so he dealt with it.
Sean and one of his medical staff worked on him and his game picked up quickly. It was fun to see, I was at one time a patient of the doctor when a number of Ducks players came in back the .

Looks like Perry's back...I wonder if they're plugging him back into the lineup straightaway, or if they'll actually have him play with the Gulls for conditioning, like Eaves did.

Looks also like maybe Kes will be gone an extended time.

And finally, Gibbons needs to be subbed out. Development or not, Jones should be over there. Play the 4 lines a bit more evenly so Jones still gets some decent playing time.

Naw, give him playing time with the big boys. Force him to body up and develop his power forward game.

(I mean yeah, all of our prospects would get more time in the AHL and probably be better than the tire fire with the Ducks, but I'd still rather see Jones than Gibbons)

Went to practice today...

!. Gibby left the rink as I was heading in about 30 minutes prior to practice starting.
2. Miller played the full 90 minute practice with Boyle and Johnson alternating in the other net.
3. Holzer is back and skating with the team.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Miller start tomorrow.

Yep. I feel bad for the kid, its not his fault he has the same last name as the worst goalie in post 2000 era.
That said if i see a goalie named DiPietro or Niemi in a future draft i'd steer clear of them, just bad luck.
