Its early, and the middle of summer. So lets predict what numbers the players will put up this season.

Pastrnak 37-48-85
Marchand 32-50-82
Bergeron 26-34-60
Krejci 15-40-55
DeBrusk 24-22-46
Heinen 17-23-40
Donato 20-16-36
Backes 15-21-36
Bjork 13-19-32
Kuraly 7-10-17
Wagner 6-8-14
Acciari 5-1-6

Krug 12-40-52
McAvoy 7-35-42
Grzelcyk 5-25-30
Chara 6-20-26
Moore 7-15-22
Miller 2-12-14
Carlo 2-9-11
McQuaid 0-5-5

Other callups 5-5-10

Total goals 263

I feel I've been conservative with Heinen. He could have a much better season in the 50-60 point range depending on who he plays with.

I typed up my prediction and quickly realized it was very similar to yours...

My only real difference was about 10 assists more for DeBrusk and 10 less for Krejci.

I think Pasta hits 40 goals, Heinen hits 60 points but Donato struggles out of the gate and spends the majority of the season in the AHL.

Not out of the realm of possibility. But the way this team gets injured Donato will be back by game # 2 on the schedule.

Good predictions

I’d give a Few more points into the 50’s for Heinen and DeBrusk

More goals for Kuraly, call it 10 even

These team won’t have too much trouble scoring, I just wonder if they’re up to the task defensively grit wise

What do we say for Halak and Rask?

13-5-2 Halak .920 sv 2.1 GAA

37 - 15 - 10 Rask .924 sv 2.3 GAA

Our forward depth looks lacking at the moment. Worried about 3C and lack of a top 6 winger

I went under on Pasta because I think him shooting par while moving down to 2nd line would be a huge success. And I REALLY want them to move him to 2nd line unless they are down by a goal late.

First line is going to have to carry them if this is the lineup they go into the season with.

He’ll have to beat out quite a few guys in front of him for a center spot, or see an injury to a center

But his showing in providence last year was great and it seems like the scouting department picked another good one
I’d go under but I’d like to see him get a few NHL games before being sent down.

He had 22 goals in 66 games and was over a point per game. Not bad for a two way playmaking center.

PPG is the absolute minimum for a good prospect in the year after the draft. The second-line center on his team is a year younger than him and scored at almost the same pace as him and was a 4th rounder.

I like Studnicka but his ceiling is a 3rd line centre unless he really shows something offensively this year. He's getting +5m of power play time a game and had 22 goals and cooled off after a hot start.

You want a playmaking centre? A 16-year-old Ryan Spooner scored 8 more goals than a 19-year-old Studnicka.
