September was a lot more fun than October.

Don't worry, this bump in the road is just part of Hextall's master plan. He's tanking this season in order to keep Ivan, Nolan, Travo, and TK's upcoming cap hit as low as possible. Yeah, that's it.

Raise your hand if you were not tricked by Hakstain's snot & balls preferential treatment to Carsen Twarynski, and maintained he was a nothing prospect the entire time...

Don't think anyone saw Twarynski as more than a 4th liner, and I still think he'll be solid there.
He's actually ahead of Bunnaman in the sense that Twarynski has a defined role, whereas Bunnaman struggled at wing and while he's scoring at center, it's a bit crowded there going forward.

He's going to have the same career trajectory as NAK, two AHL seasons then he fights for a spot on the 4th line each year.
But he's definitely ahead of Sushko, the player some thought Hakstol was dissing when he said he needed to focus on defense and forechecking - 56g 17-28 44 -17 isn't exactly what you want in a D+2 season.

I'd say the biggest surprise is Cates (other than Zamula) who was under the radar until WJC-20.
