What happened exactly? Was it the TB game?Had a feeling this was gonna be the case for Kam. That play had separated shoulder written all over it. Tough break for the kid.

To be fair, Kamenev has been a huge disappointment. A few flashes here and there but most of the time he was irrelevant offensively and not nearly as good as (at least I) expected defensively.Damn. I really hope this isn't the end for Kam. He's the one player I wasn't very happy with how he was handled by Bednar and co.
He was fine considering where he was playing. I wouldn't call him a huge disappointment at all. The kid has the size and skill to be a solid 3c. Hopefully this isn't the end of his career in Colorado. To be fair, Kamenev has been a huge disappointment. Maybe I have too high expectations but I don't think he's had more than two or three good games. He was fine considering where he was playing. I wouldn't call him a huge disappointment at all. The kid has the size and skill to be a solid 3c. Hopefully this isn't the end of his career in Colorado.
Dont claim to have seen every game but I thought he showed alot when up and was gaining assertiveness confidence and than unfortunately got injured again.Maybe I have too high expectations but I don't think he's had more than two or three good games.
I agree. Kamenev hasn't really done anything at the NHL level. Maybe he improves but right now he has very little to offer.Maybe I have too high expectations but I don't think he's had more than two or three good games.
He's played less than 30 games in his career, and he's been stuck on the 4th line with a revolving cast of glorified AHL players. I thought he looked great at times, and invisible at other times. It's not a huge loss for the team, it just isn't ideal.I agree. Kamenev hasn't really done anything at the NHL level. Maybe he improves but right now he has very little to offer.
This is really bad luck for Kamenev. I feel bad for him and unfortunately I think this is the end for his NHL career. Probably heads to Russia after this.
On the flip side I hope they give Greer his shot. He deserves a chance. He has been really solid in the AHL this year.
Greer was called up so you get your wish. He has earned an NHL go for sure. This is really bad luck for Kamenev. I feel bad for him and unfortunately I think this is the end for his NHL career. Probably heads to Russia after this.

It's not that we won't give him the shot, moreso the motivation level for Kamenev. He probably can make a decent amount in Russia, or play 4th line here. I guess it will come down to what he'd prefer to do.So absurd it boggles the mind.
No word, but there was some optimism that he might start playing before the new year.Any updates on Timmins from when he started skating two weeks ago? Has he continued to skate and progress?
