I had pretty much ruled that out after watching EJ on the bench. I guess, it still was a possibility, though.

Guys can play with a broken jaw sometimes. I bet EJ would have been one. He'd put the full shield on and probably only miss a shift or two.

Concussions are much more unpredictable. Of course it comes from a freak play where he gets hit with a puck.

I thought what I'd see was that he was still in non-contact but actually practicing with the whole team now, instead of solo/with other injured guys.

Yeah, but I'm pretty sure Jesse said he's wearing a normal practice jersey now which is why I was surprised.
