They arent going to be able to trade Mrazek for a 3rd. There wont be many teams interested so once we fail to qualify him he becomes a UFA.

Im already out due to the coaching coming back. No standards in our organization. Cancelling cable in September.

I hear you. If hockey wasn’t by far my favorite sport I wouldn’t have hung in as long as I have to this point. But even then the Flyers have done a great job at making me apathetic.

If you want move that far up you’re gonna have to give up NHL players thus why those picks don’t get moved anymore.

Yeah not moving a potential top 6 Center for a winger prospect.
I wouldn't even be against re - signing mrazek. Letting both Elliott and Nuevy go. Mrazek is younger and I thought he was pretty good. He was put in a tough situtation to succeed, when first being traded for.
See Ryan Miller the year he got traded to St Louis. Ended up re signing in Vancouver and played solid for them.
Give Stolarz a shot to battle for the Backup Position.

I liked Nuevy lots but he is very in consistent, and made of glass.
Elliott is old and slow, washed up. I used to really like him too.

I dont think Mrazek was very good but that is a fair point about Miller. Sometimes it does take time for a player to settle in after a trade. He wont be re-signed though.

Geez, a rebuilding team puts up 98 points and takes the Pens to six games and people are depressed?
Stopgap 3C is the #1 priority, someone better than Filppula, Frost and Vorobyev will be up for 2019-20.
Another bottom six forward who's above average at PK, top six is set.
Veteran RHD who's an upgrade over Gudas/MacDonald.
I just don't see big moves this offseason, when you look at the probable 2019-20 roster, do you want to give up a lot of resources for 2018?

I don’t see an issue with moving assets this offseason if it’s for a player that will be around long term. Outside of Frost and Hart, I could see anyone being dealt if the return was a top 6 forward/top 4 defenseman.

going into next year with a platoon that includes Neuvy in any fashion is pure hilarity..
its not a question of if he will be out injured.. its how long and how often..
i truely hope Hexy was blowing smoke when he said hed be fine bringing Moose n Neuvy back...
