It's technically a two-year deal for Samuelsson (remainder of 17/18 + 18/19)

I don't know if it's a two-way or one-way deal though but I'm under the impression that he won't return to the ECHL anytime soon.

Samuelsson had to prove himself at the ECHL level after two-injury riddled season but it seems that the former first round pick has now returned to his 2014-2015 form.

Translation : Olivier has inked a one-year contract with the Milwaukee which is set to start next offseason. The 21-year will join the Admirals on a tryout basis following the end of his junior team season.

The Preds had been following Olivier's progression since he took in part in their training camp last fall.

Olivier's team, the Sherbrooke Phoenix, has been eliminated from playoffs' contention tonight.

The San Jose Barracuda (@SJBarracuda), proud American Hockey League (@TheAHL) affiliate of the San Jose Sharks (@SanJoseSharks), and General Manager Joe Will announced today that the club has signed Forward Matt Fonteyne (fon-TAYN) (@M_Fonts) to an AHL contract from the Everett Silvertips (@WHLsilvertips) of the WHL (@TheWHL). Per club policy, terms of the agreement were not disclosed.

oh. I saw he signed a contract Feb 16th on the transactions page. Maybe it was for this year to make him eligible for the playoffs.

Wolves could have used him next year with all the Blues players moving over to San Antonio.

Fonteyne’s hockey career will continue beyond this season, having signed a one-year free agent contract with the San Jose Barracuda of the American Hockey League.

One of the best scoring seasons in Reading Royals history was the last call for Matt Willows.

Willows had an AHL contract with Lehigh Valley this season. He was in camp with the Phantoms, but played all 72 games with the Royals.

The forward plans to retire and pursue a master's degree at Manhattanville College, where he'll serve as an assistant hockey coach.

"I played three years," Willows said. "I gave it my all. I was looking to get up to the American League. I signed deals every year. I just didn't get the chance."
