Good team. Especially the top 6. Anyone who underestimates them will have a bad time.
How would you rate the defense and goalies? I know Fehervary is by far the best Dman and is followed by Ivan, but not much else.

PS: I know I am beating a dead horse here a bit, but a theoretical Czechoslovakia team would be so stacked on offense.

Defense is solid. Better than last year. Overall, offense and defense is over-average from Slovak standpoint. Ivan has been improving throughout the whole season. Kupec has decent season, as well, Žiak little bit struggles, plus he has minor injury atm but I hope he'll prove at U18 Worlds what he's capable of. In general all D-men (besides Demo) can move the puck, can join the rush, can create something in offensive zone which is really rare in Slovak youth NTs. At the same time, even with this squad, we're below Top 6 nations. Plus goalies are the biggest question mark.

Team Czechoslovakia would destroy this event

Sucks about the 5th goal last night, but a very good performance. It was also great to see that they didn't crumble when they were trailing behind by 3 or under the pressure of the home crowd.

They showed both skills and heart, a rare combination in Slovak hockey of the past few years.

I don't mind that Fafrak kid. Does anyone know where he'll be playing next year?

Nobody knows. But imo, he will go to North America. Its best for him. As for others, like Hrehorcak, Milos Roman, Adam Liska, Martin Pospisil and more. Especially for Pospisil, because to continue in Austria junior league is a very bad idea.

They should go. Thats best for their progress.
