2017 reDraft as per HFBoards

Well we just completed our way too soon 2017 reDraft of the FIRST round in the Polls section. It was fun making assessments and predictions of how these guys will do as some have already made the BIG splash in the NHL well others are progressing fast, some slow but still lots of potential. We will see, will be interesting to look at this next year and see how our predictions will have changed. Im sure by quite a bit. Maybe time for a 2016 reDraft soon too, anyways heres the results:

You could just throw any prospect in the NHL and people would claim he's better than Foote, Andersson, Liljegren, Tippett etc just because he's played games and the listed players haven't. Like seriously, Tolvanen has done jack shit in the league and he all of a sudden rises that much? Mittlstadt will likely be passed by a lot of prospects soon though. Same with Rasmussen, Viliardi.

I'm actually surprised Glass and Brannstrom held their spots. Not because they haven't made strides that look like they can fulfill their potential simply because Vegas hasn't rushed them into the league.

? Tolvanen rising has nothing to do with his 3 NHL games,it's because he went to the KHL last year at 18 and put up 36 points in 49 games there as a rookie
