12 team .5 PPR, picked 4th:

QB - Wilson
RB - Zeke, Hunt, McFadden, Kamara, D. Martin, J. Hill
WR - AB, Robinson, J. Matthews, J. Brown, T. Smith
TE - Graham, OJ Howard
DEF - Rams (streaming...facing NYJ week 1)
K - Santos

I was getting some flak for drafting all the suspended guys (all 2 of them) and drafting sleepers (how dare I, late in the draft...). I cast that all aside, love my team. Extremely happy to have AB fall to me at 4, and to have my trio of options I was hoping for in the 2nd (Gronk, Dez, Zeke).

12 team 1 ppr. How bad is it?

Brees

AB
Hilton
Delanie Walker
2 flexes out of Gillislee, Terrance West, Rawls, Decker, Sanu, Amendola, Lockett, Marqis Lee
DST: Denver
K: Vinatieri

I wouldn't have taken a QB that early in a PPR. Your depth isn't that good, either. I don't like it, to be completely honest. Sorry.

My second draft, a free league where I know only half of the guys (run by a guy from my office, started with a bunch of his hometown buddies, so I will mess around a bit on this draft

12 teams, standard-ish scoring, I picked #2

QB - Rodgers
RB - Bell, Abdullah
WR - M. Bryant, D. Jackson, Decker
TE - Gronkowski
Flex - Moncrief
K - Hopkins
DEF - Baltimore

Bench
RB - J. White, Rawls, D. Lewis, Kamara
WR - Thielen, Kupp. T. Benjamin

Went QB and Te early here, turns out drafting at #2 is probably not the place to try this, as while I like Martavis, I missed an entire two tiers IMO of receivers. And then while loading up on them, I ended up with concern after concern at RB. Thoughts? Suggestions?

White and Kamara are good picks late in a PPR. Moncrief teases me every year, it seems. I'm a big fan of Martavis this year. If Gronk isn't Gronk again, this team could be a disaster. I usually wait on QBs, so Rodgers never ends up on my teams unless it's a two QB league.

10 team PPR, appreciate any thoughts:

QB - Wilson
WR - AJ Green, D. Thomas, G. Tate
RB - Freeman, Mixon
TE - Kelce
Flex - B. Powell
Vikings DST
K Lutz

Bench
Mariota
Decker, K. White
T. Coleman, Duke Johnson, D. Henry
Ebron

I like it a lot. Freeman and Green is a good start to any draft, and I like Powell and your bench.

Had my draft yesterday in my record league that's been going on for 6 years now.

redraft - 12 team, full PPR, Superflex (so basically 2 QBs), we start 2RB, 3 WR + flex. I had the 8th pick.

Very happy about my draft overall. Missed out on DaVante Parker in the 10th as I busted my allotted time and had Rawls ahead of him in my queue (mistake on my part). I was really high on Winston as a QB2 or even QB1, but he went very early (early 3rd round).

Took both Pats running backs in 2 of the last 3 rounds so that I can see on Thusrday what Bill has in mind this year for his backfield.

1. AJ Green (almost took Rodgers, but...)
2. Rodgers (couldn't believe he fell there in a Superflex league)
3. Hyde (reached a bit IMO, but he's more of a bellcow than Hunt at this point)
4. McCaffrey (full PPR did it for me)
5. D.Thomas (then again, kept falling for some reason, was picked after Hill, Adams, Jeffery and Landry)
6. Crowder (Lots of good WR went in this range, maybe I could have gone with Woodhead here)
7. Eli Manning (love him as a QB2 especially after the likes of Taylor and Wentz)
8. C.J Anderson (again, he fell, but to me he could be a 3 down back in Denver)
9. Rudolph (he and Delanie Walker were available here)
10. Rawls (should have gone Parker, but I like Rawls to overtake Lacy)
11. Cutler (realized Rodgers and Eli are on bye in week 8, had to do something. Cutler might play in weeks where Eli has a tough matchup)
12. Britt (needed a high floor WR4)
13. Z.Jones (should see targets)
14. Jamaal Williams (GB) (I like Montgomery, but Williams is just one injury away)
15. R.Anderson (somebody is gonna catch passes in New York)
16. R.Burkhead (let's see what Bill does)
17. Bengals D (interesting start to the season, I will Stream my DST anwyays)
18. D.Lewis (let's see what Bill does)

I will wait and see if I pick up a kicker for week 1 based on my score.

QB : Rodgers, E.Manning, Cutler
RB: Hyde, McCaffrey, CJ Anderson, Rawls, Jamaal Williams, Burkhead, D.Lewis
WR: Green, D.Thomas, Crowder, Britt, Z.Jones, R.Anderson
TE: Rudolph
K: none
DST: Bengals

Am I too optimistic about this lineup?

I think you did reach on Hyde like you said. Rodgers in the second in a superflex is robbery. I would have liked to see you take another QB earlier. I like Crowder a lot for PPR. McCaffrey too.

What you guys think of my 2 teams this year... 12 team leagues & standard scoring

Team 1: Picked 6th overall -

QB: Derek Carr
RB: Todd Gurley & Jaquizz Rodger (To handcuff the suspended Doug martin)
WR: Odell Beckham & Amari Cooper
TE: Greg Olsen
Flex: Alshon Jeffery
K: D Hopkins
DST: Eagles

Bench: Doug Martin, Danny Woodhead, Willie Snead, Pierre Garcon, & Jared Cook

Team 2: Pick 4th overall -

QB: Marcus Mariota
RB: Isiah Crowell & LeGarrette Blount (def my weakest position)
WR: Julio Jones & Aj Green
TE: Greg Olsen
Flex: TY Hilton
K: Wil Lutz
DSTL Patriots

Bench: Wendell Smallwood, James White, Willie Snead, Corey Davis, & Delanie Walker

First one: Looks okay. I wouldn't have taken a backup tight end since you have one of the best in the league. Even if you didn't, I don't like taking a backup tight end. I like running backs like Gurley more in standard, but word is that he might catch more passes this year. Beckham, Cooper and Gurley is a decent start to a draft. Snead probably went late.

Second: I don't like Blount at all. I like Crowell a lot. Snead probably went late again. Yeah, your running backs aren't that good. Play the wire. Again, I don't like having a backup tight end.

12 teams .5 PPR:

6 Mike Evans, TB WR
19 Leonard Fournette, Jax RB
30 Dalvin Cook, Min RB
43 Keenan Allen, LAC WR
54 Jamison Crowder, Wsh WR
67 Mike Gillislee, NE RB
78 Adam Thielen, Min WR
91 Jameis Winston, TB QB
102 Duke Johnson Jr., Cle RB
115 Jordan Matthews, Buf WR
126 Robby Anderson, NYJ WR
139 Samaje Perine, Wsh RB
150 Julius Thomas, Mia TE
163 Vikings D/ST D/ST
174 Wil Lutz, NO K

I was the last one to pick a TE and think only one team picked a backup so I just kept waiting and took a shot with Thomas. There's guys like Ebron, Fleener, Brate and Cook available.

I hated the Matthews pick but the clock was running out and I panicked. I should have just taken Anderson there and found someone to take coming back. Or even Andre Holmes who I like better than Matthews for Buffalo.

Cook and Allen are really good picks where you got them. You'll probably need a QB, though. I don't like Fournette for one years.

I don't like your running back depth. Blount and Forte seem like wasted picks. I like your WR depth. Luck is a good risk. It may give you a trade piece if he plays well.

12 team .5 PPR, picked 4th:

QB - Wilson

Brown at four is a steal. It sounds like Zeke will play. I don't like your WR depth at all. Your RB depth is decent. I like Martin to run with the starting job once he gets back.

12 team, 0.5 PPR, picked 10th overall - Antonio Brown was my keeper

QB: J Winston (7th), Luck (10th)
RB: K Hunt (2nd), M Lynch (3rd), D Martin (4th), D Henry (6th), Burkhead (11th), A Kamara (13th)
WR: A Brown (1st), G Tate (5th), John Brown (9th),
TE: Z Ertz (8th), J Thomas (12th)

Kicker and Defence taken 14th and 15th round.

I knew I was reaching on RBs, but with the scarcity in the position, I didn't want to be left holding my d1ck, plus, I think Martin and Henry have huge potential. Martin when he gets back in week 4 and Henry if Murray gets hurt.

I know Kareem Hunt was a reach, but there was a run on RBs and Dalvin Cook was taken right before my pick. My choices were Hunt, Fournette and McCaffrey. I like Fournette but I don't like the Jags. I think he's going to see stacked boxes all day.

John Brown's health is a risk, but if he can be healthy, I think he'll be huge value for where I got him

12 team TD Only league--no points for yards, no points for receptions, QB's get 6 points per TD rather then the common 4 points.

1(8) - RB Todd Gurley
2(17) - RB Dalvin Cook
3(32) - WR Davonte Adams
4(41) - RB Mike Gillislee - remember this is TD-only
5(56) - WR Tyreek Hill
6(65) - WR Donte Moncrief
7(80) - WR Randall Cobb
8(89) - WR Jamison Crowder
9(104) - TE Martellus Bennet
10(111) - QB Russel Wilson
11(126) - QB Andy Dalton
12(135) - RB Derrick Henry
13(150) - K Chris Boswell
14(159) - WR Paul Richardson
15(174) - RB Alvan Kamara
16th - we leave one open roster to pick up an FA, will get a D with mine. Not much difference in predicting D scoring in this league, only TD's.

- Wasn't too happy with the options in the 1st round. My realistic options were Gurley, suspended Elliot, Howard, Lynch, McCoy, Cook, Mike Evans or Jordy Nelson. The Rams passing has looked promising in preseason and Gurley has no competition in the backfield. Hoping for a resurgence after he disappointed last season.
- Didn't plan to load up on GB pass catchers, but the value was too much to pass up on Cobb in the 7th. I expect Bennet to get a lot of goalline TD's and at least GB is a contender for most receiving TD's in the league.

Lol, one game into the season and off to a good start with Gillislee and Hill.

I'm pretty happy with how this draft went.

Why two kickers? It looks decent, although I wouldn't be that happy with your RB depth. That seems a little early for Larry Fitz.

And even happier with the way this team somehow worked out.

Wow, how did you get Cook and Bryant that late? Good job, although again, a little early on Larry Fitz for me.

Well, I missed the first part of my draft as my ball playoff game ran late, so the auto-pick chose a good part of my team. Auto-pick does well with the first round, problem is, if someone takes a QB early, other get scared and follow suite, but auto pick doesn't and just goes by ranking.

Girlfriend got kind of rattled so I put the last 4 rounds on autopick and it give me another kicker haha.

I love Fitzgerald this year. Brown will be unhealthy all year, and they have no Floud. He's going to eat targets all season.
