Was going to vote Barron but unfortunately he has zero offense and this isn't the kind of development system that knows how to turn a guy like that into the next Cody McLeod (post enforcer) or effective 4th liner in general.

I like Barron. He's not a big points producer but he has skill. He's still figuring out how to be a net front guy and stop trying to shoot it. I worry about the dev system outside of pretty much the top 3 so that wouldn't stop me from voting him.

I like Girard, but don't see an NHL future there. Barron feels like he'll fall in that same category. So it's Leivermann or Kvaca here for me. Though Olhaver's bounce-back season in Sweden has kept me from giving up all hope for him.

I like Leivermann but he has a long way to go even before contributing in the AHL. He's going from HS to BCHL this year.

Just getting ready for him to be my new Clurman once Clurman's in college and we start to get a better idea of what he's going to become  But he shows up in a positive way in some of the Mittelstadt footage, and the reports fit that. He seems to have the talent, creativity & skating to become something.

And it's not like it's clear what we have yet from Barron, or that he's on the cusp either. Not gunna argue to fervently because Barron's easy to cheer for and seems like he could become a really nice depth player if this organization developed its own 4th liners. Maybe it's the Henley heartbreak :dunno: cause I still wish we had given big Sam another contract, but my hopes of Barron or Nantel ever getting their chance with the avs certainly took a hit.
