I think the Canucks priority list list goes (providing Hischier and Patrick go 1-2) in this order:

2.Glass
3.Petterson

I anticipate one of Glass, Pettersson or Mittelstadt, though. And I don't anticipate any trades. Should still be a fun day, though.

Draft day has sucked the last 2 of 3 years.

Also trading Tanev for anything less than a top 10 pick is poor idea. He should have lots of value. He's a young top pairing defenseman signed to an extremely friendly contract. This also isn't the time to be trading him as we need guidance for some of our younger players and I simply don't trust Benning to get value for him. Not to mention that the defenseman market is somewhat flooded after the expansion draft. Schlemko only returned a 5th round pick.

Glass/Horvat is not a bad transition out of the Sedin era.

Yes on the 1st part and I hope we only trade Tanev in a deal involving a potential lottery pick next year.

Nobody is giving us a top 5 pick for him alone so we'll need to try and luck into one. TO or OTT seem like the best targets. Maybe NJD.

Don't like anyone in this draft. Trade the puck for a lottery ticket as well...and Edler too.

If we use the pick I'm hoping for Glass (assuming Hirscher is gone).
