Derrick White is currently a better player than the four listed above him.

Was the 3rd best player on a team that took the 2nd seed Nuggets to 7. One of the biggest reasons SA made the playoffs.

I'm surprised they traded Jackson. He was developing pretty good.

Top NBA picks have the shortest shelf life with their teams, possibly even shorter than NFL picks.

Even go back a year to 2016, 3 years later only 4 out of the top 10 picks are still with their original teams.

fox is a stud and needs more love. i think he has good case for #1. tatum, mitchell and lauri filling out the top 4. collins #5. after that it gets trickier.

Fox would be #2 for me right now behind Mitchell. Him and Tatum are both a year younger than Mitchell too so I wouldn't be surprised if one or both of them passed him.

Don't sleep on Bam either. He's coming this season with the moody cry baby now in Portland. His minutes should go from 23/gm to 30+ now. His per 36 numbers last season were pretty good: 13.7 pts, 11.2 reb, 3.5 ast, 1.3 stl, 1.2 blk, and a 17.9 PER. A 120 ORtg and 104 DRtg too.

That's reasonable. I could see him being ranked closer to 6. But let's not forget he plays in Pop's system where it seems all point guards look like studs. (except Patty Mills)

The 3 above all have enormous upside, Isaac is already an elite defender and Bam Bam a quite versatile big. In raw athleticism DSJ is better no doubt.

Derrick White is one of the best defensive guards in the league.

I can see arguments for Isaac/Bam, but DSJ is inefficient and has been largely unimpressive IMO.

Might just be bias though, as I'm a Spurs fan lol, but once White went down around February we were not the same team.
